Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported May consolidated revenue of NT$17.44 billion, up 1.2% M-o-M and 4.0% Y-o-Y. Cumulative sales for January and May totaled NT$84.48 billion.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 25% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in May. Thanks to the increased demands, LED vehicle Lighting enjoyed a revenue growth of approximately 40% Y-o-Y, while LED components ongoing market share gains resulting in overall LED business continued to grow year-on-year. The
     Information Technologies business segment accounted for 49% of sales with a revenue growth of 4% Y-o-Y, of which, cloud computing application products posted continuous revenue growth year-on-year, driven by delivery expansion of server and networking power management systems and high-end server enclosures. Meanwhile, Multi-Function Peripherals achieved a revenue growth of approximately 40% Y-o-Y, thanks to shipment increases from its laser models.
     The Storage business segment accounted for 19% of total revenue with a sales growth of over 30% Y-o-Y, as a result of increased end-market demand.
